Bootlickers @ Monash University Malaysia

Being in campus today really excites me, things are moving and being done so fast. People that are usually hiding in their office suddenly appear out of their caves wearing baju kurungs, tie, coats... etc etc

I am wondering where had Monash gotten their resources from? since most of the time the university staff take ages to do simple things or sometimes financial constraint is given as an excuse.

Ohh... how can anyone forget, today's the opening of our new campus and VVIPs are coming. Canopies are being erected in front of the cafeteria, toilets being clean or at least those near the audis. Security guards are everywhere eventhough the police are already there. Why the sudden change?

The answer is simple, make Monash look nice to welcome the VVIPs. Bodek and bootlick as much as they can to make the VVIPs happy and impressed. This is a clear example of what of what the Chinese use to say "hou thai imm hou sek" which literally means nice to see but not nice to eat.

While the VVIPs gets entertain, the students suffer. 400 car parks had to be reserved for the VVIPs, and I myself had to park at some muddy construction site next to the campus. This is fine to me as this is a one time matter, but what pisses me off is that the problems students face everyday is just being ignored.

Let's us not forget that we are the ones funding Monash's income. Although they make some by renting out spaces but 90% of their money are from us, students. And yet we are treated like crap, staff and VVIPs gets the best treatment and we students are left to suffer and survive on ourselves.

Take some time off and think about it, is this how you want to be treated after paying rm30k a year? Are we so desperate as to beg the university to treat us right? It is time for you to speak up and speak out and demand what you deserve and not just be a nerd that studies and go back home to sleep, wasting you parents' money.

inYou think that by associating monash uni with Najib taint our name? well, think again.
Without the government to invite monash to Malaysia, you think you will be able to study here? I guess, you might be one of those people who are fighting for a damn place for public uni. And ask yourself again, why have you chosen Monash ? iF you don’t like it, get out of this bootlicker campus? By saying that Monash is a bootlicker, you, YES you yourself is also part of the Bootlicker.
Clearly, you have not understand the fundamental reason why Monash is Being BUILT HERE.
You wanna comment something, be constructive. And don’t point your finger.
And if your so great, why aren’t you taking action to refrain Najib from officiating our Monash?
And Monash didn’t need to fill najib’s pocket, you think monash has money to pay him?
Clearly, you are childish and immature to have say a phrase such of like that.
No matter what he did, do you have proof?have you had any edvidence?
If you say the government is covering up, so why don’t you try to bring these out if you have proof?
I bet you only hear it. He is not the only vip around. But he has a history of being the person that hand the letter of invitation to Jeffrey cheah when this campus first started.
I bet you weren there to learn the history of the uni and here you go …my two cents worth.
Grow up boy, start to be a man…
Don’t just hide and write, show some action BOY
Well, I think your dumb to pay 30k a year to call your self a bootlicker too.

Indeed worse minds!

if local unis are based on merit i wouldnt need monash, i think XD

i never said i didnt like monash... just the things that are done... criticism is an important tool in ensure complacent doesnt take place... if noone cares then ...

... had been threaten all along... "dont like this country, get out" used to it... so maybe you are a potential politician

i believe my views are constructive and whoever that say otherwise it is up to them and i respect it. everyone is entitled to their own views.

i didnt say the government is covering up...the word is alleged, and i didnt say i alleged... i always believe some1 is innocent unless proven guilty

well, i believe in freedom, if najib wants to come why stop him? if monash wants to invite him then so be it. but why can't i have my own views on this matter? is it wrong?

nah, maybe i would just be like peterpan and stay young forever, i think that is a good choice rather than to be a 'man' and do nothing

To Mr anonymous, you yourself are not very constructive no???

Tahu criticize criticize saja, never face reality.

While i have no idea of the intentions of my fellow bunny, i found his posts to be contructive and with sense.

Instead of spending so much money on inviting those VVIPS and money on organizing the event, the money should be spent elsewhere.

Think of it, the facilities in Monash Sunway Campus is BULLCRAP. I dare to say that the old campus was wayyyy better. Except for the library, the old cmpus was much better.

Monash was built her in the first place with the priority given to anyone but students. It was built to make money and for the government to attract foreign students to..you got it right, to make money.

As for students studying there, the only real benefit is the ability to take an Australian degree while still residing locally. Tell me, if the government is so sincere in our education, have they done much to help the students? Are we being subsidized in any matter?

The fees we are paying are no kiddie fees, they are a lot. Think of how much money Monash makes from its students. Wanna know why the food in cafeteria is so expensive? They charge rent. Wanna know why the lounge is so small? They want more room for more classrooms. Wanna know why the carpark is made to charge money? They want to collect whatever $$$ they could.

Now, based on that, tell me.. What has being done for the welfare of students? The Musa student council can only do so much, it is the Admins who are having the final say.

By posting here, evilbunny is already doing something. By whining and criticizing him without being constructive, you my mr Anonymous BOY, are being a bootlicker.

This comment is with reference to what Mr. Anonymous said about Evilbunny being "one of those people who are fighting for a damn place for public uni".but before i begin,i would like to advice Mr. Anonymous use a nickname next time he/she comments. That way,we can associate the comments to you, rather than having to scratch our heads figuring out which Mr. Anonymous wrote the comment.
Mr Anonymous, you wrote that the government invited Monash to start a campus here, but i beg to differ.During the term of one of our Ex Prime Ministers,Monash and Nottingham were given the approval to build their campus here, but not without anything in return. They supposedly have ties with this one time Ex. PM.but don't take my word for it, GOOGLE LA to find out for yourself. Adding to that, isn't it suspicious that only 2 foreign universities were granted in starting their local campus here?I mean,50 years after Merdeka and only 2?
Well also, you asked evilbunny if he was one of the people fighting for a place in public uni?but aren't we all,and that's why we're here?Of course many of us could have opted for the cheaper alternative, private public uni.but then again, would qualifications from the said unis be as impressive from a prestigous university like Monash?probably not.Again, don't take my word for it,go GOOGLE LA and find out how many local grads from these private public unis are jobless.Okay,I think i might have deviated from the topic a little bit.
Moving on,come to think of it,you do sound like one of those narrow minded MPs whom we have voted into Parliment."if you don't like it, get out".Now,that's such a childish and immature thing to say.Ironically, you're calling Evilbunny to grow up and be a man?
